Trivia[]
- This is one of the very first times Red threatens a "foot in the ass" to one of the characters.
- Running Gags: Eric continues to imagine his parents naked; characters referencing the pot leaf on the water tower looks like someone giving the finger.
- This is a rare time Laurie is nice to Eric and when Eric accepts her kindness.
- It is revealed Red's mother was a dancer and it's implied that he (like Eric) walked in on her and his father in bed, as evidenced by his uncomfortable reaction to Kitty's words.
- At the beginning of the episode, Jackie is wearing a T-shirt with a picture of herself on the front; this type of t-shirt with iron-on pictures were quite popular in the 70s, although most people did not wear one with a picture of themselves on it. However, Jackie is conceited and quite self-absorbed, making it so it isn't far-fetched she would have had the idea.
Goofs[]
- When Kitty tells Eric to let her see his eyes, behind her is a view of the outside yard, with the fence gate closed. After the camera pans to Eric and back to Kitty, the gate behind her is now open.
- When Eric and his family are eating breakfast and he starts imagining Red and Kitty naked, the flesh-colored tube top Debra Jo Rupp is wearing for the scene becomes clearly visible.
