Trivia[]
- The title of the episode “Jackie Bags Hyde” refers to Jackie trying to win over Hyde’s heart and make him her new boyfriend by making him jealous with a new date throughout the episode and this also focuses on Red and Bob competing against each other on Veteran's Day while hosting their own barbecue party; with the Formans and everyone, except for Donna and Midge, unaware that Bob is hosting his own Veterans barbecue before he announces that his store is about to go out of business.
- Veteran's Day is November 11, which marks the end of World War I. Additionally this is the first episode that takes place on Veteran's Day.
- It is revealed in this episode that Bargain Bob's is closing due to Price Mart being more successful and popular store in Point Place.
- Jackie and Hyde have their first kiss.
- Ironically for an episode which ends the plot of Jackie's infatuation with Hyde, this episode unknowingly gives a preview of the character dynamics from seasons 5 to 7, in which Hyde is paired up with Jackie, and Kelso spends more time with Fez.
- In addition, Jackie stating she'll never be with Fez foreshadows the plot of the final season.
