Jackson "Jack" Burkhart is the father of Jackie Burkhart and ex-husband of Pam Burkhart. He is portrayed by Paul Kreppel.
Biography
Jack Burkhart is a successful lawyer and as so, he and his family have an expensive lifestyle. His wife, Pam Burkhart, was first dating a fireman but instead married Jack probably because of his money. It's also revealed that he's a bigot, a view his daughter partially picked up until she learned otherwise.
Jack does not like Kelso, even going as far as cutting off Jackie's financial support when he discovers she still dates Kelso even though he said he did not want her to date him. At one point, he nearly strangled him when he found them in her bedroom, despite his daughter pleading.
In the Season 5 episode Black Dog, Jack gets arrested for bribery and embezzling $60,000 from the city and he is in prison for the rest of the series.
Jackie is ashamed of the fact that her father is in Prison, preferring to believe that he is trapped in an exotic place where he is helping natives while looking for a way to escape. Hyde calls Jackie out on this lie, which upsets her. However, she appears to have gotten over it, as she once blamed Donna for making her father hide under his bunk when her show indirectly caused a riot.
