Glen met his wife Iris back in his high school days, and a couple years later the two got married. At some point of their lives they stopped getting along and as stated by Glen himself, Iris stopped being nice and started eating. In 1977, Glen, alongside his wife, attended the fundraiser their church organized. Both of them took part in the Cake Walk, as Iris wanted to win the marmolade cake. Glen walked up to Eric and wanted to take care of this, also warning him not to marry his high school girlfriend, as she would end up just like his wife.
