Betsy Kelso is a character on FOX comedy That '70s Show.

Betsy's parents and maternal grandmother
Betsy is the daughter of Michael Kelso and Brooke Rockwell. She was conceived during a Molly Hatchet concert. Throughout Season 6 Kelso must adjust to life as an expecting father. Betsy is born at the beginning of Season 7. She lives with her mother and grandmother in Chicago. After her birth, Kelso watched her for the day but Betsy wouldn't stop crying and he began to doubt himself as a father because he was barely in her life when she was born. At the end of the episode, Betsy was held by her father and finally stopped crying as Kelso realized that she finally realized who he was. Kelso also promised Brooke to be more around because he needed to be a part of his daughters life and this was agreed on. Kelso acted on his promise and spent every weekend for the past month with his daughter it was even allowed to pick her godparents.
At the beginning of Season 8, Kelso moves to Chicago to be closer to his daughter.
In the '90s, it is unknown what her relationship is like with her father; since he moved back to Point Place in the early '80s but it can be assumed that she was mainly raised by her mother later in the '80s; with her father somewhat involved.

- Her mother initially did not want her father to be in her life but was convinced otherwise.
- She was named after her paternal great grandmother.
- Kelso revealed in the final episode that he taught Betsy to use the word Burn, his favorite catchphrase.
- She was never seen interacting with her grandfather John Kelso or her uncle Casey Kelso.
- This is the case for her other uncles and mostly because her father thought they were all too dangerous around her.
- Her godparents are Jackie and Hyde. Jackie would later become her stepmother after getting married to Kelso by the '80s.
- By the beginning of That '90s Show set in 1995, Betsy would be 16 years old. She would fall into the same age range as the new teenage main cast, including Leia Forman whom she is one year older than.
- However, while her half-brother Jay Kelso is a main character, Betsy has currently not been mentioned. She may have stayed in Chicago with her mother Brooke.
