Trivia[]
- Bunch's actor Jason Mewes is mostly known for playing the character of Jay in movies by filmmaker and his lifelong friend Kevin Smith. Their characters Jay and Silent Bob were introduced in Smith's debut movie Clerks, which has been mentioned in "Free Leia", and went on to appear in most of Kevin Smith's subsequent movies, in a shared universe dubbed the "View Askewniverse".
- Some consider Jay and Silent Bob to be the '90s counterparts to Cheech and Chong, a comparison mentioned in the 2001 movie Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Tommy Chong appeared in its 2019 sequel Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.
- While Bunch intentionally resembles Jay for the most part, a major difference in his appearance is Bunch has facial hair while Jay has consistently been clean-shaven (except in the music video for Highlife by Logic).
