Bull McCracken is a character that was introduced in the episode The Good Son. He is portrayed by Mitch Pileggi.
Bull is Red's former friend he met back in the war days.
Character[]
After Second World War the two came back to the country and shortly after that lost touch, Bull moved to Chicago and started having affairs with multiple women. He got married with Joy, became rich and eventually came back to Point Place, meeting Red again. They started hanging out again but with time Red understood that Bull is not the same person that he used to be; Bull's in an open relationship with his wife and casually hooks up with other women. This causes Red to sever ties with Bull permanently.

- Mitch Pileggi (Bull's portrayer) and Arlene Pileggi (Joy's portrayer) are married in real life as well.
- He, like his wife, is a swinger.
- Both Pileggi and Jim Beaver who guest starred in the season 3 episode Who Wants It More? would both later work together in the CW fantasy horror television series Supernatural.
