Trivia[]

  • This episode starts the new opener taking place in a circle in the basement instead of the Vista Cruiser.
  • Holiday-themed variants aside, this is the only episode to have a completely unique version of the opening titles, between Topher Grace and Ashton Kutcher no longer being part of the main cast and Josh Meyers only joining it in the next episode.
    • Despite Tommy Chong's absence, this is the first and only episode to feature Leo lip-synching in the opening sequence for Season 8.
  • Charlie likely had extremely weak endurance to physical trauma, given that Kelso and the other boys in the group have survived falling off the water tower.
  • This episode serves as a continuation of "Til the Next Goodbye" and takes place a month after the events of that episode.
  • After catching the gang in a circle, Kitty and Red go down to the basement and raid it for drugs. Fez reveals that the Candyland box contains a stash. Instead of disposing of it, Kitty smokes it, and as a result she experiences the Kitchen Wall Hallucination.
  • Fez no longer sports the haircut he had during the prevoius six seasons (parted down the middle), his hair is now slightly gelled and slicked back, and will remain so until the end of the series.

Mentions of Eric[]

  • Kitty's subplot revolves about recording a tape for Eric.

Goofs[]

  • In the flashback of Kelso returning to Point Place the day after Hyde caught them (Donna explicitly says that it was the next day), Kelso's hair is much longer than it should be, compared with the cut he had in the previous episode.
  • Also, in the flashback to the events right after the previous episode, Fez has his new haircut (see above) instead of the one had during that episode.
  • After Kitty flips the tape in the recorder, she waits for several seconds before pressing record and telling Hyde and Jackie they can continue screaming. Due to audio cassettes starting and ending with a few seconds of blank non-recordable tape, she should've pressed record before waiting, not after.
